China 2013 (Part 1) Beijing

This is the start of a 5 City tour of China. We flew out of England on April 26th and returned on May 9th. It was Amazing!

Shanghai

1st & 2nd May 2013

We take the Bullet train to Shanghia and on the 2nd of May we climb the Pearl TV Tower and walk through Yu Gardens. Our guide is Cindy. Our hotel is the Cube 5 star Hotel.

This busling shopping area is exciting and picturesque. The quiet gardens are teaming with ancient everything.

We arrive at the Gao Aunt's Inn in the ancient water town in Wu Zhen China. We are well looked after by the family who run the Inn.

The Water Town displays its two-thousand-year history in its ancient stone bridges floating on mild water. The population is about 700 people.

We explore the West Lake by bike and by boat. Cindy experiences her first flight from HangZhou to Beijing that same night.
